The decor was cute, really capturing that vintage vibe from back in the 1930s. Just a heads up, it's an old building, so soundproofing isn't great. I could hear my neighbors a bit, but it wasn't too disruptive.

It would be great if the owners focused on restoring the restaurant and lounge areas, which would enhance the experience even more. Parking was adequate but could use better lighting. If you're someone who appreciates history and personal service, this place is a gem, but be prepared for some quirks that come with an older hotel.

Rooms are cramped, akin to a Wookiee trying to fit into a speeder. The air conditioning struggles to cool down, turning the room into a bit of a sauna. Plus, potential guests might be put off by the unkempt exterior and weeds threatening to overtake the landscaping. Not the smoothest check-in process either, bringing in some undesirable stress right off the bat.

My kids wished there were more activities or amenities available for families, like a pool or a game room.
